Setting guardrails before you go hands-off

Going hands-off does not mean going blind. Three settings define the box the model optimizes inside — set them deliberately before you flip on auto-pilot.

Guardrail 1: the spend cap

Set a monthly ceiling the model can never cross, no matter what it predicts. This is your hard limit — the number that lets you sleep. AlgoBoost optimizes aggressively beneath it but treats it as absolute.

Guardrail 2: protected brand terms

Flag the branded keywords you always want to own. The model will respect them rather than pulling bids on terms you consider strategic, even if the pure-efficiency math would suggest otherwise.

Guardrail 3: the mode

Choose auto-pilot, where the model executes inside your guardrails, or review mode, where every proposed change waits for your one-tap approval. You can move between them whenever you like — start on review to build trust, then hand over the keys.

Then let go

With the box defined, hands-off is genuinely hands-off. The model works the account hourly, you watch the log, and you step in only when you want to — not because anything is on fire.

See it run on your account.
